The Battery Box is a emission-free energy storage system on skid for locations where the electricity grid is deficient, where it is necessary to operate without diesel or where reliable energy buffer needed.
The Battery Box is used on construction sites, in infrastructure projects, temporary installations and grid-critical locations.
With quiet operation, flexible charging options and smart use as a buffer, the Battery Box is a fully-fledged alternative to diesel generators as well as a solution to grid congestion and peak load.
A Battery Box is a skid-mounted energy storage system which is easily installed on site. Unlike a diesel generator, the Battery Box supplies energy only when there is actual demand. This makes the system efficient, quiet and low-maintenance.
The Battery Box works with Lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, known for its thermal stability, safety and long service life.
The Battery Box is designed for situations where:
A key distinctive advantage of the Battery Box is its buffer function.
The Battery Box can handle peaks and support limited grid connection.
Examples:
With this, the Battery Box acts as smart energy buffer offering stability, continuity and flexibility.
Customised advice on quotation
We help think through tender documents, technical memos and flow scenarios.
Simulations & scenarios
We provide forecasts, peak capacities and schedules to give your client insight into costs, savings and risks.
Proof-of-concept & demos
If required, we temporarily install a Battery Box for reference during the decision-making phase. This way, the client experiences the benefits immediately.
Technical integration in concept
Our trailers are plug-and-play and modular. In your concept presentation, you can easily refer to models with specific peak capacities (These peak capacities prove that Battery Trailer not only delivers continuous power, but can also handle short-term peak loads. Essential for e.g. pumps, cranes, rebar machines, etc.).
The Battery Box is used for, among other things:
The Battery Box can be charged via:
This allows charging on site, at the yard or via public and private charging points.
The Battery Box supplies power through the available connections, efficiently and stably, even at low or varying loads. Combined with the buffer function, the system remains reliable under varying conditions.
How quiet is the trailer?
The noise production is 0!, employees immediately experience this as pleasant.
What does electricity cost per kWh compared to diesel?
Power costs on average €0.26 to €0.27. A Battery Trailer consumes power only when you ask for it. A diesel generator runs constantly for 8 to 9 hours a day. Compared to diesel generators, you also save on maintenance and transport costs.
How long can it run?
Depending on the type of Battery Trailer and the load: from one day to several weeks.
What about safety and maintenance?
Fully certified, compliant with PGS-1 legislation (statutory fire safety not to take effect until 2027) with monitoring (GPS), alarm systems and maintenance contracts through Battery Trailer.
Energy Infra is your reliable partner in emission-free construction. Together with leading clients and partners, we are working towards a future where diesel generators are a thing of the past.
Our mission is to make renewable energy accessible to anyone who needs temporary or mobile power. We combine technological innovation with practical applicability so that any organisation can easily switch to an emission-free power supply.

A Battery Box is an emission-free skid-mounted energy storage unit that provides temporary power without a diesel generator. The unit is placed on site and can be moved by forklift or crane.
A Battery Box is skid-mounted and intended for on-site placement. A Battery Trailer is on a trailer and suitable for road transport. Both provide silent, emission-free power.
Battery Boxes are used on construction sites, on infrastructure projects, temporary installations, grid-critical sites and in rentals, especially where silence and emission-free operation are important.
Yes. For many light- to heavy-duty applications, a Battery Box can replace a diesel generator, with benefits in terms of emissions, noise and maintenance.
The Battery Box is available in six variants:
Eco Boost 43 kWh, Eco Flow 53 kWh, Eco Charge 62 kWh, Eco Advance 72 kWh, Eco Force 81 kWh and Eco Max 96 kWh.
It depends on your energy requirements (kWh), peak load (kVA) and deployment duration. For shorter deployment, 43-53 kWh is suitable, for longer deployment or buffering 62-96 kWh.
Yes. A Battery Box can handle peak loads and support a limited grid connection, preventing outages and exceeding connection values.
Yes. In locations where the grid provides insufficient capacity, a Battery Box provides additional power and continuity of operations.
Charging can be done via an EV charging station (Type 2 AC) or via a mains connection (230 V or 400 V), depending on the configuration and available connection.
Depending on the configuration, simultaneous charging and discharging is possible. This is particularly interesting in buffer and grid support applications.
It depends on consumption and capacity. At low load, a Battery Box can supply power for several hours to days.
Yes. A Battery Box is whisper quiet and causes no noise pollution, making it suitable for inner-city locations and residential areas.
Maintenance is limited. There is no internal combustion engine, no oil, no filters and no fuel logistics like diesel generators.
The Battery Box uses Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their safety, thermal stability and long life.
Yes. The Battery Box is designed for outdoor use on construction sites and temporary locations, provided it is placed according to the instructions for use.
Yes. Its robust construction, easy operation and low maintenance requirements make the Battery Box very suitable for rental fleets.
Yes. In some situations, several Battery Boxes can be used in parallel to achieve more capacity or power.
The system is protected and switches back or off automatically to prevent damage. This increases safety and reliability.
In many cases, Battery Boxes are eligible for schemes such as SSEB and MIA/Vamil. We will be happy to advise you on what applies in your situation.
A Battery Box is quick to deploy: install, connect and work. There is no fuel supply or start-up procedure as with diesel generators.
