Lenferink Vastgoedonderhoud puts Battery Trailer in Enschede: emission-free building in practice

In recent weeks, Lenferink Property Maintenance the Battery Trailer in on a special project in Enschede. For Housing corporation Our House the preservation of 73 homes will be carried out on Borneostraat, Celebesstraat and Wooldriksweg.

The goal: make homes with cultural-historical value ready for the future, in a sustainable way. And that includes an emission-free construction site.

Entire construction site powered from the Battery Trailer

According to executor Gerben van de Ploeg, this trial has been more than successful. The entire chain fleet, the 10-tonne crane, power tools and the plasterers' pump ran all day on the Battery Trailer.

Reactions on site were unanimously positive:

• No noise and odour more of a diesel generator.
• Reliable power supply for all construction activities.
• Ease of use Just Plug & Play.

Gerben sums it up nicely: "Does what it needs to do, and it just works well."

Why this matters

More and more construction companies and housing associations are switching to emission-free solutions. The Battery Trailer helps in this process:

• To 55,000 litres of diesel and 135 tonnes of CO₂ saved per year.
• Suitable for construction sites without a construction connection.
• Directly deployable in zero-emission zones.
