Sustainable solar veranda for football club in Zwolle

In collaboration with Veldman Techniek, we worked at a football club in Zwolle a durable steels solar veranda installed. The canopy is 16 metres wide and equipped with 42 solar panels, generating green energy in addition to sheltering spectators. This allows visitors to comfortably enjoy matches on the pitch, while the association actively contributes to a more sustainable future.

Environmental gain

The expected annual production of this installation is 15,449 kWh, resulting in a CO₂-saving from 6.3 tonnes per year. By comparison:

• This corresponds to the CO₂-recording of 252 trees.
• It is equivalent to the emissions of 37,040 km driving an average petrol car.
